Mr Surinder Mehra, managing partner of the firm, is a first class graduate from Chandigarh University (B.Com.) and was placed in the all-India merit list in the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Mr Mehra has 45 years post-qualification experience and has specialized in taxation and audits. He has handled a large range of clients including prestigious Indian and multinational companies.
He has in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws, regulations, rulings and judicial interpretations and comprehensive working knowledge of various other laws. Apart from advising clients on various issues under the Income-Tax Act and Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements, he has a vast experience in handling assessment proceedings under the Income-tax Act. He also handles appellate matters before the Commissioner of Income tax (Appeals) and the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).
He also has extensive experience in audits, review and financial reporting, having knowledge and application of the accounting and auditing standards and drafting financial statements and related disclosures, partnership dispute resolution, family settlements, etc.
Mr Mehra focuses on building long term relationships with his clients, and takes a holistic approach to clients' tax affairs.
Mr. Satyam Mehra, partner of the firm, is Chartered Accountant and M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad). He focuses on 'Strategic Consultancy'.
